How can the FDA torpedo R-IT if it's successful as most believe it will be? Can you imagine the enormity of the outrage from BP, doctors, the public, anyone involved in developing drugs and running research trials, if the FDA tries to renege on the R-IT SPA in some manner? Deny approval for a CV drug with a positive outcomes trial costing how many hundreds of millions, that could save the government multi-billions in health care costs? Are you kidding me? The FDA approved the trial design - this is not the same thing as reneging on the ANCHOR SPA, this is way, way bigger and different than that - a denial would blow up the entire pharmaceutical industry and how it operates - not gonna happen, unless R-IT clearly fails. Let's not lose perspective here - if R-IT succeeds, it will cause a global change in the medical treatment for hundreds of millions of patients.

Current price action is meaningless, tells us nothing, except maybe that Jenkins is going to pass the buck up to Woodcock and Hamburg - we are not at the end game yet with ANCHOR or NCE, not even close. Don't forget the Congressional demands for reports that the FDA explain it's behavior and ridiculous actions against AMRN are due in a month or so.
