True enough, but it also seems Solms and other folks he's hired have an acquired understanding from having sold in the enterprise market that in addition to observing the customer's environment and listening to them to identify the pain they are experiencing with their current deployed solutions, that you also need to go into the market armed with products that readily scale into a wide variety of customer environments without requiring customization for each new customer. It seems the previous Wave was learning and adding enhancements as they deployed each customer, but without going through the beta to finished product launch the way successful vendors normally do. Basically Len Veil wasn't doing his DD and SKS wasn't holding him accountable for product development. Of course SKS made himself responsible for such and didn't execute. He went on the customer by customer basis described above and never got to a true product launch. Of course listening to the beta customers, understanding each of their environments and trying to account for all other possible customer environmements is part of the process of developing a scalable solution leading to a product launch. Hopefully that is what Solms and Kazmierczak have accomplished with VSC 2.0 and will do the same with a mobiles solutions and an enhanced SED solution.
