I don't think the attack on US facilities in Benghazi was a happenstance. To me it's easy to believe that radical Muslim terrorists in Benghazi planned the attack on 9/11 as a message to America. They deeply resented a CIA operation in their back yard that was said to be taking weapons out of the area and likely shipping them to Syria.

It's much harder for me to believe that Obama staged the whole thing. Think about him enlisting or somehow motivating dozens of heavily armed Libyans to attack the DoS compound and kidnap Stevens. Then in the next 6 weeks cooperate with a rescue mission. I doubt Steven Spielberg could come up with something like that.


I think people give Obama too much "credit" for foreign policy failures. He is a foreign policy failure in his own right. I'm probably in the upper percentile of those that despise Obama. But I don't think he--

* Planned on kidnapping Stevens.

* Was complicit in killing or kidnapping 26 students and teachers from Sandy Hook.

* Cooperated with the Government of Ukraine to shoot down MH 17.

* Trained and equipped ISIS so they could--what? Make him look like a total fool by destroying Iraq.

I believe Obama is a stumbling, bumbling fool when it comes to foreign policy. And focused like a deadly laser when it comes to destroying the American we have known.
