FRESNO, Calif., March 31, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEIX) announced today that due to delays in completing its 2005 audit, the Company will extend the filing date for its annual report on Form 10-KSB with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company expects to file its annual report within the prescribed extension period and, in any event, not later than April 17, 2006, the last day of the extension period.
