Key problem with somatic stem cells is they don't have the versatility that basal stem cells do. They have to rely on plasticity and hope that the inclination to be able to regenerate other tissue groups hold out. That is why lots of chord blood stem cell groups have jumped up. Successful division of somatic cells is relatively easy, it successful specialization into traumatized tissue groups that gets me tricky. I was playing this off tech signals.
