IMHO, it's a very big deal that Tom went out on a limb by declaring that LWLG's goal is to become “the Intel of photonic chips and devices”. I don't believe Tom ever mentioned Intel's name before this. I also find it interesting that Tom never mentioned the LSS in the shareholder update. If Intel is indeed the LSS, how does Tom's statement reflect on LWLG's relationship with the LSS? Is LWLG parting ways with the LSS in attempt to compete with the LSS? Or maybe the LSS decided to move forward on their own? Or maybe Tom's statement could be construed that LWLG's ultimate goal is to be acquired by Intel? Maybe I am trying too hard to make sense of this statement?
