Tnogger you are right a home is a place to live in and not something to bet on, but it is also much more than that. Similarly, for 9 out of 10 the stock market is a place to invest money, and not a place to earn a living off of. The difference is with one you save by living, and with the other you save with the extra. As long as the GDP stays ahead, there should be no crisis. Also, home prices should go down for the good of everyone!
