Potential of large cap stocks: We've come to the end of the month. For the sake of those who care, let’s evaluate how you would have done with those 5 I gave you. I didn't see any good sell points during this month, but let's see what you would have made with the 5 stocks I recommended:
LUK (53.93-58.47), BSTE (54.84-51.60), CHK (30.32-31.70), STST (28.89-33.58), and RYI (25.80-27.47)
Total gain on $1000 in each = $84.18 - $59.08 + $45.51 + $162.34 + $64.73 = $297.68 = 5.95% of $5000
Not bad at all, 25 times better than a bank. I was too cautious with those picks, and I wish I gave you DECK, and GRMN instead of BSTE and RYI. But still $297.68 for someone who has only $5000 to invest is nothing to sneeze at, and it would be much better than wasting the money on some sneaky wannabe company in penny land.
