They destroyed nothing. Those stocks had zero intrinsic value, if those holding did not lose their money the next sucker who bought into the scam would have. If the scams are allowed to continue even more people would LOSE MORE MONEY. Blaming the powers that be for shutting down scams is completely naive and shows a complete lack of understanding of the markets.
