SEC Suspensions versus thousands of other non-suspended stocks that inflicted untenable losses upon shareholders.....as much as 100 % losses when toxic financings, monstrous dilutions, and / or reverse splits literally wipe out everyone. With every pump there is the subsequent dump.
Which is worse?
At least with the SEC's ultimate sledgehammer, the Suspension, shareholders have the opportoooooonity to learn what happened to their blue chip stock, specifically failure to file requisite Financials or (and) disseminating inadequate and inaccurate information. With pump and dump stocks it appears the lessons are harder to learn for a bunch of reasons, like, blame the bashers / shorters, NSS'ers, the DD Support Board and Fraud Research Team, gawd.....anyone EXCEPT for the purveyors of false and misleading information that ran the pump to inflict the dump. Gotta know that SEC Suspensions grab everyone's attention....and throats.
Learn or don't learn....so profoundly simple.
To avoid getting caught in a Suspension OR to avoid untenable losses in the thousands of stocks that escape the SEC's Suspension guillotine investors need to conduct infinitessimal due diligence to verify E..V..E..R..Y..T..H..I..N..G.
The premise should instinctively be (but incomprehensively isn't) that the stock is on the OTC Markets for a reason, being failure to file Financials to the SEC if that stock is an SEC Registrant Filer or for electively choosing the OTC Markets where companies can and DO put out earth-shattering news releases (and / or unvetted Financials) that are often false, misleading, and intended to sell stock....lots and lots of stock.
Again....which is worse, an SEC Suspension or losing up to 100 % on non-suspended stocks that fleece all investors?
