Friend who participated in the DCVAX-DIRECT trial

I happened to know three people who all had stage IV pancreatic cancer with multiple metastases who were diagnosed within a short time of each other. I had become aware of the DCVax-Direct trial at MD Anderson as a result of following the development of dendritic cell vaccines after my mom passed away from a GBM several years ago. I recommended that all three investigate participation in the trial. Due to conflicting medical advice from their oncologists, two chose not to participate and use standard of care or other immune therapies and one chose to enter the trial. The two who chose not to participate have both passed away unfortunately. The one who participated is symptom free and has exceeded his original 6 month life expectancy of by an additional 9 months. His disease is currently stable. I am writing this because it would be a terrible travesty if those who are attacking NWBO succeed. Anyone and everyone who has the capacity to help NWBO by holding their stock, investing more, and encouraging the positive news that has resulted from NWBO operations will also be helping these patients who do not have any other good options for treating their cancers. My sincere hope is that these treatments become available to more patients as soon as possible.
