First I could not find a link to this document. But more
specificly, the news release has this quote -
"We believe that FIPS-200 illustrates a critical recognition among
federal security officials that agencies must have robust,
multilayered security solutions that can identify and authenticate all
of its network endpoints -- both users and devices -- in order to
truly protect data, critical infrastructure and intellectual property
from outside attack", and wanted to get the idea on the specifics
on how these authentications should be implemented.
