It is very cult like behavior. I've seen several longs on proboards post that they now believe they have been scammed, CMKX never had a thing, and the NSS was a message board pump. They are immediately attacked by others. Meanwhile, others cling to the NSS theory, although there has never been one shred of evidence to support it, the cert pull is proving now that it doesn't exist (unless you believe the whackos who claim the OS is 100 billion or something despite the TA's testimony in court and the company's own filings), while others cling to valuation. And they state it matter of factly, as though totally brainwashed, just like cult members. I've had the "priveledge" in a former business life of dealing with some of the higher echelon, and lower ranks, of Scientology. Forget the Travolta's and Cruise's, they are treated like gods and have special priveledges, but the glassy eyed responses from the underlings are frightening.

But like virtually any religion, much of the clinging to hope by longs is on "faith", not fact, and they will go to their graves believing they were wronged. It's easier to believe, and part of human psyche, that you were wronged by others than to believe YOU made a wrong decision.

I thought PCBM, BIFS, and ECNC were the most amazing message board pump scams I had ever seen. But CMKX takes the cake. The fervor and blind faith many of the longs have despite so much contrary evidence is simply frightening, especially when there is so much negative evidence, revocation, and a CEO who didn't exactly hide all the money he took.
