Trying to figure out what the point of finding an article about an event that happened in January of 2012 is relevant to right now. What possible reason would you have for trying to find something like that? At least "Risk It" actually countered with a story that happened just a few days ago. There is no mention of the Ford catching fire but there is a mention of a fiery wreck involving the Tesla, so there is another disparity. If this is an attempt to prove that Fords can catch fire as easily as Teslas, then it still wasn't proven since no fire was mentioned in the Ford crash. Teslas have been known to catch fire with minimal impact that was the reason for the recall, a word Mr. Musk prefers to avoid using, but when you retrofit every car, for free, that could basically explode without the replacement part...it is a recall. The only similarity is that it appears both cars were split in half. I am sure we could find multiple car manufacturers with issues of this depending on the wreck, but I am sure they would also have quite a few more cars on the road than Tesla. Should we also be looking for articles regarding the Model T Ford accidents as well? It just doesn't make sense to go back two years and pull this article out...where is the positive value you claim to offer?
