Goodness LG... on a roll.... well, the reason that Equity Markers can't be traded is simple...

1) In NO bankruptcy case are Escrow & Litigation Tracking CUSIPs tradable. NONE. Nothing special here.

2) They track ownership at bankruptcy exit, by definition. Therefore, if you traded them, you would lose track of who held securities at bankruptcy exit.

3) They are CUSIPS not SHARES traded by brokerages. You trade 'shares in a company' not 'CUSIPS that are markers'.

There's nothing to be made of them not being tradable.
