AXPLF...What a day!!! I thought for sure anyone wanting AXPLF shares today would have to pay over $9 after this morning's news. Well what a surprise!! It opened in the low $8's and stayed in the low to mid $8's for approx 2 hours.
Here's what I'm thinking...
What an opportunity today's trading action was. The CEO just put up $2,000,000 to buy shares in his own company @ $10.50 a share, a 30%+++ premium to yesterday's close. And he's also paying an all time high for the stock!!! No warrants or bull#### attatched that I can find. This is rare IMO. Most of the time PP's take place at or below market prices. I mean seriously, he could have paid $9 a share and I would have been happy.
I'll tell you what, the CEO is putting his money where his mouth is, and in a big way. That shows confidence. And although a pullback is possible, there are only approx 700k shares in the float, so things are going to really tighten up IMO, as more news is announced over the rest of the year.
We'll see what happens.
