ceo integrity - hi mmbg,

i think it also partly grew out of an assumption of decency in the ex-ceo's behaviour. this assumption became gradually harder to make for many. but when you assume someone is honest, it is kinda difficult to listen to folks undermining their character.

it also partly depends on the manner of the criticism. i don't see all the cynics as undeserving of the response they received. there were many low blows.

not that moderators don't make mistakes. but if you participate, you have to abide by the rules and their interpretation.

for myself, i always wanted the wave i thought i had invested in to succeed. but i realised long ago that wave's management and the company were different things. and that the former seemed to be damaging the latter.

i don't know whether the former ceo thought of himself as a manipulative liar. i think he may as easily have been a fantasist. but the net result is much the same for those of us listening.

it's really nice to feel that i can return to my original assumptions about a normal level of management decency and competence. heck, solms may even be better than that. but he isn't worse. what a relief.
