any carbon tax will go to a few people of influence. But the public will be told it is going toward "research" into mitigation of the "damage" of CO2. Global warming is far from settled-this does not mean it's not heating, doesn't mean it's not cooling. There is an agenda to muzzle scientists in the world. Co2 has been much higher, sea level has been higher, methane release is a huge unknown, probably bigger than measurable CO2. What we haven't had in the past is a lap-dog press. Hard to say what is the truth about anything, and that's the way they like it. Paulson was a liar when he talked about blood in the streets, and yet he pulled it off. Why should we believe known liars?
