Five gold stars...

"Steipp gave up the most potentially profitable segment - consumer electronics - of this company for ONLY 20 million??? What an idiot!!!"

If he didn't, Apple buys them out on the cheap, no CIP, Apple would have done joint ventures with much larger R&D partners - getting royalties from those guys, bye-bye LQMT, and go suck it minority shareholders.

That's true, though, 100% true, that they all got to keep their jobs. There is also no doubt that dilution has adversely affected valuation, but if you believed in the company's prospects (and even if you weren't and were just looking to play the rumors) you were "lucky" enough to buy under 10 cents (as lows as .05, of course) and sitting on a minimum of 300% gains in the past year.

Not saying it was any measure of a stroke of genius, but Apple has bought out enough small guys as a means to limiting it from the competition, does anyone really think that wasn't a distinct possibility here? Take a guess...

If I'm on ihub, it's because I'm bored off my ass...
