We have seen the enemy and it is us. We couldn't reach a consensus on how to spell "cat" if they spotted us the "c" and the "a". We demand respect from management and we have no respect for each other. We insist that management listen to us and we refuse to listen to each other. We criticize management for having no clearly stated goals and objectives and we have yet to set even one of either for this board. We conduct performance reviews of management's actions 24/7, but refuse to do anything but engage in emotion packed popularity polls when the actions of one or more of our members comes under scrutiny. We expect management to address our concerns when we can't even discuss them without engaging in "food fights" which make it impossible to democratically reach agreement on what they are. We want management to take us seriously, but our egos prevent us from unifying into a force that would leave them with no choice but to do so. Finally, we expect a management that can be trusted on everything when we can't trust each other on anything.
