I still cannot get an answer to my question in laymanese. I am just trying to find out if expensing options effects the EPS by lowering earnings. I finally have the dilution figured out thanks to the 2 brothers who run the Motley Fool.

As far as shareholder/voters being around next year nobody knows enough to talk about it. I plan to be around unless the company is bought out like many believe. If the 3g licenses happen, this company is set up for a great period of steady growth. Only two things can change its fundamentals. One is the expensing of options. Two is an acquisition that does not meet the expectations. Other than these two items, IDCC should bring in a lot of money with great margins.

I plan to be around long enough to write and produce a commercial with Howard and JLO playing the characters. I can make Howard and IDCC a household name overnight. I plan to have her on a beach with 2 hunks. The first hunk is promising to buy her a house. The second hunk is promising her a new Benz. As Howard (bermuda shorts, Hawaiin shirt and sandals with white socks) is walking by she says "oh no, i forgot my phone". HG tells her to use his and proceeds to say that it is running at 384 k hops and mumbles several more technical measurements. She asks "How do you know that" and he says "my company is inside the phone". She says "wow, would you like to take me home". He says "yeah, sure my name is Howard" and they proceed to walk off with HG's arm around her and his hand on her fanny. The 2 hunks are seen shaking their heads as a voice says "Interdigital, we invent so the impossible can happen".
