OT: If you were a member before a certain date(don't remember what it is) you would get grandfathered out of those ads. One time when my credit card was stolen and my membership lapsed after the card was canceled I started seeing ads. I just got with one of the admins and they removed the ads. You will need to track down what that date is and then get with the admins.
