I started a little experiment with my Doc about 3 weeks ago. I took Crestor then Lipitor for about 6 months with sever leg cramps. I finally settled on Lavalo about 3 or 4 years ago with better results (not perfect). My LDL and HDL numbers are borderline but I'm very worried about the long term effects of the statin. So I said put me on Vascepa and drop the statin for three months and let's see where my TG HDL LDL numbers are then. He thinks they'll be elevated to where they were when we started, but said he would be just as happy to be proven wrong.

August 29th is my physical and lab test. Looking forward to outstanding results. Oh, and it's nice not to have those nasty leg cramps anymore too.
