Not really. Bank is right--this is who Lt. Col. West is. I do brief Drew on atmospherics but they have little impact upon his actions IMO. When things get "desperate" he only becomes more focused and sober in my experience. "Difficulty defines the context of the mission, it does not dictate its results."

I have mentioned he has great chemistry with Phipps. I note that a bulk of his letter focuses on GTC. That does not surprise me.

Drew will respond to individual desperation and give his last power bar to a little Afghan boy but he won't make business decisions based on anyone's desperation IMO--ever. Ever. Sincerely, IJO
