How many are disappointed that the BOD disn't include a special dividend in addition to the increase in the quarterly dividend?

IMO, it would TRULY show confidence not only in the upcoming decision but also in our first in class sales team to be able to DELIVER licenses.

We know that the buyback will increase shareholder value, but that can erode with failures in the courts systems and licensing efforts.

We also know that because of the SAMSUNG resigning, there is extra cash in the till. In addition the recent arb awards are included in cash.

We all know that senior management WILL DIP INTO THT WELL with bonuses as a result of the above. SO, why not give at lease $0.80 in a special dividend ($32 million) to well deserving shareholders? Wouldn't that show management's belief in its direction?

JMHO, but I think management could have made a better decision as it pertains to shareholders (AND INSIDERS WHO HOLD IDCC STOCK).
