You are being satirical about this right? I read the PR. It definitely does sound promising, but there are some missing info that if confirmed and was true would make this much more legitimate break-through and I would consider this pI/II trial a success. The missing info is whether the biopsies were done on tumors that weren't injected. I believe that these biopsies were done on the injected tumors but not the other tumors. It is the other tumors that weren't injected that is far far more important to see if the death and immune cell infiltration has occurred (unless NWBO is trying to market Direct as a replacement for surgical resection which I highly doubt- though I could see applications for it.) Also, what is the logic to injecting multiple tumors in a patient IF there is no proof that the other tumors are being killed off. If there is proof, then please say it clearly AND get it published for peer review. Patients feeling better is great for publicity, but not for serious scientific scrutiny. What about RECIST application on those 9 patients on a tumor that was not injured by direct injection. That is what I am interested in- not the tumor that was injected. IF LP is the one to filter out the results and PR it to the public, I would like to scream and wonder what the @#$@%. I hope for all the longs that the SP keeps going up, but I get a feeling that this is but a temporary spike (for now).
