Very good question retiarius. Coming from someone that has implanted titanium implants I have seen no literature or studies regarding the liquid metal alloys and osseointegration. I will check again. THe osseointegration effect of titanium is thought to be due to its oxide layer that coats the metal. This allows a matrix of tissue and bone to strongly adhere to the metal surface. It is not exactly how it sounds where the bone grows into the metallic implant. It is just a very strong attachment to the surface of the metal through the complex processes of wound healing. The studies for these implants also unfortunatly usually take years of animal studies then human trials.
