alkalinesolution1 the character of the upstream operator is more pragmatic than the pipeline operator. The upstreamers are not called Wildcatters for nothing. It is in their interest to use technology to get oil out of the ground as fast as possible and move on to other parts of their concession.
I'm not from the industry but that's what I read.
So IMO upstream adoption should be faster than the conservative pipeline operator.
