MARIETTA, GA--(Marketwired - Jun 5, 2014) - StudentConnect Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of East Coast Diversified Corporation (PINKSHEETS: ECDC), today announced that it will for the first time have a public showcase of its Frost and Sullivan "New Product Innovation" award winning product at the GAPT event on June 18, 2014.

Visitors to the Verizon booth can view and see how the wireless communication between GPS and RFID help deliver instant messages regarding students riding on buses, to parents and school authorities. The StudentConnect software application also offers many features for schools and parents such as online absence request and bus arrival notification for parents, global announcements system used by schools to communicate with parents.
