it means that those that sold shares short and have not yet covered them (thus the meaning naked, "un-covered") would be forced to buy the shares... via margin call etc. whatever is needed. the MMs would buy up the shares ASAP and take out the cheapest 300-400million shares currently on the market..... (assuming the MMs aren't in on it and already holding these shares in their pockets)..



in other words it would basically force buying at the ask price of shares totaling the amount of naked shares currently out.

my assumption is that 300-400 million buying presure would put this welll above .03..

now if a PR came out post cusip change and pre-covering... anyone with half a brain would not sell anyting below 2-3 cents which would cause the covering to occur much higher than the current levels... hard to say how high this could go...

anyways... could be nothing, could be something...
