StudentConnect to Showcase at the GA Association for Pupil Transportation Event
MARIETTA, GA, United States, via eTeligis Inc., 06/05/2014 - - StudentConnect Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of East Coast Diversified Corporation (PINKSHEETS:ECDC), today announced that it will for the first time have a public showcase of its Frost and Sullivan “New Product Innovation” award winning product at the GAPT event on June 18, 2014.

Visitors to the Verizon booth can view and see how the wireless communication between GPS and RFID help deliver instant messages regarding students riding on buses, to parents and school authorities. The StudentConnect software application also offers many features for schools and parents such as online absence request and bus arrival notification for parents, global announcements system used by schools to communicate with parents.

"We intend to continue to provide the solution to schools at no cost. We are excited, as this is the first public showcase of our solution we look forward to unveiling StudentConnect at the event. The technology simply outperforms anything else out on the market in terms of efficient delivery of the most accurate information about student on the bus,” said Kayode Aladesuyi, ECDC, CEO.

StudentConnect will be used on school buses by several school districts across the US and some international markets during the upcoming school year. The system is powered by the Verizon network.
