Edgewater is not the easiest place to live in Jersey to get to NYC. The GWB is constantly a 2.5 hour crossing. It would be easier to swim across the Hudson. But Edgewater is a very very nice yuppie area for those who don't need to go to the City often. And the view is nice. Better to drive south to Hoboken and take the tunnel. But at commuter hours, that is a commute time and a toll.

Also, no trains from Edgewater. Gotta take the bus, or drive your car and park it at Hoboken and then take the Path. Edgewater is not cheap.

I always said, get a wave runner and a water proof bag, and jet ski to the south street seaport to work. I know the people at Salud, they probably would let me change in the bathroom everyday after all the mojitos I have bought from them.
