I don't have the ability to PM but I wanted to say thank you. It's too easy for people to break the divide between person and professional life when it comes to business. Even if the guy is a mess in his personal life (currently or previously), it shouldn't matter if he's getting the job done when he wheels and deals.

Look at celebrities that are amazing in films, then turn around and get arrested for drunk driving, or have to check into rehab. It doesn't make them a crummy actor or actress! People make mistakes/bad choices, it's human nature to not be perfect.
