Abbott/Abbvie is a major player in those diseases to fight inflammation with it's blockbuster drug Humira. Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals would be a very symbiotic acquisition (or teaming partner) for Abbott.

I think it is very possible that Rock Creek is one of the companies "on the menu",
