You guys are talking like Vascepa is totally out of pocket for most patients prescribed Vascepa. I pay a co-pay of $120 for a 90 day supply. The rest Express Scripts picks up (United Health Care). I have no problem paying it, which ends up being $40 per month for my script. Now, if I use the Vascepa coupon (which I haven't yet....) My script goes down to $50 for 90 days.

What am I missing? It appears that some folks don't have as good a coverage as I do, but of course my premiums are $500 per month for medical insurance too. I have no clue as to those folks on Obamacare or paying the minimum premiums.

It's like those who can afford to eat Salmon 3-4 times per week compared to those who are on hot dogs 3-4 times per week. In order to reach a higher % of population obviously Vascepa wiil need Reduce-it and the medical community endorsement. Then of course the Cramers and Fartsteins will need to come around and embrace this science...
