Air, Exp, WW, Low, and other members committed to the duty of care in evaluating this little gem, i.e., the CMSG brain trust...may I say beautiful posts this rainy morning in Dallas, Texas.
What a week!! and to think, some attempt to actually focus on the negative; as if there is any. It's all about perspective....
Contrary to popular wisdom, seeing is NOT believing (there just is no objective reality separate from the observer); but believing is no doubt what drives seeing (an active perceptual process of matching patterns to create meaning). IMO, we see what we believe to be true; and filter out that which we do not accept as possible.
Check out "what the bleep, do we know". A great rental and sequel now in obscure independent outlets.
Most of us are addicted to our pain (i.e., world view) as neuro associated pathways (the electrical storms in our brains that create our internal experience of "reality"); as said in the flick, those neural pathways that "fire together, WIRE TOGETHER" and create the law of associative memory; through which we view and assign meaning to experience.
Unfortunately, for many of us, those experiences are rooted in the relentless wounding experiences of childhood as we grasp the meaning of separation initially from the womb and our primary attachment (love/trust) objects.
So, attempting to get someone wh is addicted to their POV (whether good/bad or indifferent) is like watching someone try to argue away diabetes or cancer. Truth is we SEE WHAT WE BELIEVE TO BE and not the opposite.
I am honored to participate in this high end cerebral community. Keep posting, I appreciate the vigilence and diligence of this community; all while we growth the pool of personal and collective wealth this little engine that could is offering to us all.
