Really? I believe it is about 50/50. Many people will post something(link, thought, etc) and say "what do you think?" Just because they don't ask you specifically....doesn't mean it doesn't happen often. Maybe if they felt you could contribute something meaningful...they would ask for your opinion directly. But who knows?
