Here are the details Charles gave me last week when I asked him what was going on:

FINRA has not denied the name change, or anything like that. However there is some confusion at the DTCC. FINRA came back saying that DTCC has our old TA down as our current TA, but our current TA says that is impossible. I called the DTCC myself and they said it looked fine. Nobody at the DTCC could explain it or why it would come up in this way, but we re-submitted the paperwork to FINRA, and again they came back with the DTCC problem. Right now our TA has an inquiry submitted to the DTCC to try to straighten it out. As soon as it is fixed, we will get our name change and begin making announcements about our business relationships.

Looks like it's the TA, the DTCC, and FINRA that are slowing everything down.
