Investor are drawn to a company by its potential growth which hopefully lines their pocket. It's not greed, it's why this game exists. There is no other reason, period. That's why the negativity.

What's screwed up about this company is it has massive potential but it's motives are not to reward the investors, their happy just being over paid researchers.

On the conference call they said they have built a new "world class technology development center". Does anyone else think there is something wrong with this? How long have they been developing this company? What were there sales this quarter? (160k). What's Steips compensation (700k I think I read)? Sell something and pay for the center don't use our $!

I say just do what a company promises to do, produce sales and revenues and stop paying for pet projects with investors money. Since Apple is thrown around so much I will use this as an example. Apple started in a garage. Its technology too, was advanced and provided a solution to a need which allowed them to sell the heck out of it. Liquidmetal doesn't need a bigger sales staff, they need a businessman (or woman) running this company. Steipp is a weakling and will never grow this company to its potential. He has no clue how to do it or he already would have.

It made me feel ill but I sold half my position for a nice profit and shorted a pretty large position at the open, covering at the close. I really thought it would drop more but it was a nice profit all the same. No more drinking the cool aid, the traders are right on this one and I believe if anything develops in the future, there will be plenty of time to buy back the shares I sold. Sorry Sandy, I heard nothing on the CC that indicated they were going to get this train going. Hope I'm wrong cause I still have a pretty big stake, but I just don't think they are really concerned with business as much as the are with just playing in the garage.
