I'd imagine there are several ways

you can determine what's necessary or not. One of my premium programs, System Mechanic, rates the programs by what other users are doing by percentage.

When in doubt when it comes to computer issues, follow the rest of the sheep I always say.

I'll be watching the responses you hopefully get however.
