In Loving Memory of Frank Knope
(May 15, 1929 – April 14, 2014)


After a courageous fight overcoming many illnesses over the years, Frank left us on April 14, 2014, just before his 85th birthday. We’re grateful that he passed away at home, with the wonderful support of Hospice. Frank’s family and his faithful dog Hope remained by his side all week—offering their love, support and favorite life memories.

You have been an important person in his life, and we wanted to share our loss with you. While we carry immense sorrow and grief in our hearts, we celebrate Frank’s legacy and give thanks for the multiplicity of ways he influenced our own and other’s lives.

Frank’s greatest recent happiness was his young grandson, Kai. Born to Leigh Ann and Kim two years ago, Kai was Papa’s ‘little dude,’ his ‘Boo Boo,’ his pride and joy. Kai adored his Papa, took wonderful care of him, fed him fruit and vegetables, and made him smile constantly. Frank said he never imagined a little person could bring him so much joy so late in life.

Frank will be buried alongside my Mother and Father, at the beautiful Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
