I don't think it is due to any governmental delay at this point. Otherwise, Huff could have stated that fact. I believe him when he says they are waiting on the banks' final approval of the business plan, and that he needed to give the Russians a public statement that the deal was over if approval was not forthcoming so the Russians could go to the bank and say, get it done now, or you lose our business.

Neither the Russians nor GTE could force the government to move more quickly, and Huff would not threaten to do so.

We will see on Friday what is what.
