I suspect many invested in GTE would feel be upset if Huff had remained silent until Friday, and then announced the deal is off. I'd rather be informed of developments along the way, than to be kept in the dark guessing for weeks or longer.

I also feel the Russians are playing games with GTE in order to profit from stock purchased during this period of uncertainty. I am glad to see Huff call their bluff on this one... either produce the money or find another company to jerk around. With other deals in the works, best to stop wasting time and move on to more serious customers.
