And you'd be right. The market gave him a break back in early 2004 and priced TMM's equity like this was a legit company that was actually going to create shareholder value. Olsen just had to live up to it and he would have been able to finance the company and its growth just like a normal, well-run company that was honest with its shareholders.

Then there was the a/s increase to 50 billion that no explanation was given for... Then the confusion about the sharecount... Was it 4 billion? 7 billion? Then the rumors that Olsen hadn't really come clean with shareholders after all... And the sharecount turned out to be 44 billion.

Yikes.

That's Frank.

No wonder the stock was plummeting.
