MM's are of the greedy kind and not shy to sell @ .0001 to keep the lid on things.
They have little risk in doing so, while R/S's are so common in PinkieLand, they can sit and wait for years on end (as we may be witnessing here), for just that to happen. And even when the pps tanks after a split, they just see opportunity to short some more before even considering to cover.
