Health Canada is considering an appeal of an injunction that puts this countries medical marijuana laws in limbo. Last week a B.C. judge said Ottawa cannot automatically suspend almost 40 thousand marijuana grow licenses. If people have a license, they are allowed to continue growing medical weed for themselves and others. That is good news for South Okanagan medical marijuana grower Rob Perret. The federal government cannot cancel almost 40,000 personal grow licenses. He says he'll continue growing now that they've been told they can. Legal marijuana consultant Don Shultz says that's probably a good thing. He says the whole system was rushed to begin with.
