Yes. I find the statement suspect. Sterling seems to be saying the SEC told his attorneys that they suspended because of "concerns" that some unidentified party "may have been planning to engage in some form of manipulative promotional activity."
Very often, they don't act even when there's a screaming promo in full swing. So all that strikes me as quite doubtful.
