Great post StockingUp. There's no guarantee of success with any penny stock, so you have to do some research and play the ones which seem to have the most potential reward. Cetek has to be one of the best researched companies of all the pink sheet stocks, and if you read the DD you know you're getting a real company, but you also know the CEO has been quiet for many years. The fact that there is so much information about Cetek despite Mr Hilal's silence is because it's a real company with all kinds of legitimate internet links. Just ask Penemy.

Incidentally, I was talking to an experienced broker the other day, who told me that he had seen several instances where the CEO went completely dark for years and then emerged as a successful company and a much higher share price. So it isn't unheard of to be silent for a number of years. Unfortunately, it's perfectly legal as a non-reporting Pink. IMHO there should be no such thing as a non-reporting public company.

By nature, people who are invested in penny stock plays are instant gratification types. Penny Stocks can soar thousands of percent in a day or two, and then come right back to where they were over a relatively short period of time. So penny investors know they have to have a short-term mentality in most cases. Just look at the MJ stocks that had multi thousand percent runs, and are almost all now in a state of steady decline each day. The vast majority of them were just hype and zero substance and there will be nothing left at the end of the day, unlike Cetek.

We have recently picked up a number of short-termers in Cetek because there was a lot of hype about the Revival for $46,800 and Mr Hilal's ill health. But many of them have already moved on because it's going to require the slow-moving very silent Mr Hilal to PR his plan. I definitely think it's worth the wait from here, but others who think they have better stock ideas and need the cash for another play, then that's their privilege to move on. But right now, the good penny plays are few and far between, so good luck with that.

You just have to have faith in what we do know. Although logic and valuation sometimes take a long time to get recognized, eventually they do. And also, you can't be too concerned about people who derive their egos from taunting others on an internet message board, despite doing no research. You have to use them to your advantage in building whatever position you wish to build in a stock.
