Great question Pit, especially for a CC should we ever have one again (ASM?). I'd like to think that due to their mastery of the new chemistry used to manipulate the chromophores and material system as a whole, that it would allow them to "drop in" new and better materials systems into the devices with minimal device changes required. Who knows though, would love to hear an answer to that. You'd have to imagine that someone would want to be first to market with a product incorporating such a material due to the cost savings along, assuming that is still an advantage.
