StudentConnect Executes 5 Year Agreement With First School District in California
Company Expands to California After Several Months in Pilot Phase and Enters Largest School Transportation Market in the Nation

StudentConnect Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of East Coast Diversified Corporation (OTCQB: ECDC), today announced that it has executed a 5 year agreement with its first school district client in the State of California.

"We continue to expand our reach in the school transportation space. We are deploying services across the country as we lay the ground work for the next school year, Helping school districts improve the quality of safety in their transportation plan while saving money is a key objective for StudentConnect," said Kayode Aladesuyi, ECDC Chairman/CEO.

StudentConnect provides free school transportation technology to school districts. The technology utilizes proprietary wireless communication between GPS and RFID to detect student entry and exit from school buses or other anomalies that may occur during student's transportation. The system provides real time notification to parents and school officials about student status. StudentConnect is offered to school districts, parents no cost. The system now includes free routing software for participating schools.
